The German women's national football team had won their first (official) international match against Switzerland 5-1 in Koblenz on 10 November 1982. The highest victory was a 17-0 win against Kazakhstan in Wiesbaden on 19 November 2011. Although the German team is used to victories, on 14 March 1996 they had the highest defeat: USA 6-0 Germany

The two-time World Champions (2003, 2007) want one think in 2019: the third star. The pressure increases and at the latest after the second round game we will know where the German team stands. Spain and China can be opponents, the South African team is more offside. The German team is in second place in the FIFA World Ranking, the United States are one rank higher. It is therefore to be seen whether Germany loses again in the case of a game against the USA or shows enough will to become world champion. We keep our fingers crossed.
